Knowledge
After the course, student will have general knowledge about the computer system construction and operation. Understands and knows the concepts of databases, computer networks and procedural and object-oriented programming. He knows the basic rules of the geodetic measurements development using computational packages for existing legislation and technical guidelines. Student knows the data exchange formats used in surveying. He has a basic knowledge of the life cycle of equipment, facilities/objects, and technical systems.
Skills
Student can do the basic geodesic calculations and create map in geodetic computational package, design and execute the application in the development environment used to geodetic calculations in procedural and object-oriented approach. He can work with the network layer of the operating system and, in the basic field, design and implement a relational database using appropriate methods, techniques and tools. Student can communicate using different computer science techniques in a professional and other environments.
