Polish / EnglishThe course in English will be available if a minimum of 6 students sign up for a group. If less than 6 students sign up for the group, the course will be available in Polish with the possibility of individual support in English.Learning outcomes:
Student acquires the basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills associated with photogrammetric methods of metric images measuring. Student knows the applicability of remote sensing methods for spatial data obtaining.Competences:
After completing the course the student has basic skills in the use of modern methods of aerial and satellite images elaborating in order to produce maps.Prerequisites:
surveying, adjustment theory, geometry (particular knowledge of the central projection)
Course content:
Definition of photogrammetry and remote sensing. Capturing of terrestrial and aerial photos. Photos observation and measurement methods. Fundamentals of analytical and analog elaborating of stereogram. Photogrammetric technology. Orthophotomap, the use of Digital Terrain Model (DTM). Fundamentals of digital photogrammetry. Physical basis of remote sensing. Atmospheric windows, the use in remote sensing. Meaning of spectral characteristics of objects. Image features. Methods of photos recording.
