Learning outcomes: Knowledge of husbandry and breeding of arthropods, fishes and some molluscs. Knowledge of methods of adapting water environments for husbandry and breeding purposes.
Competences: After completing the course student will be able to work with aquatic organisms.
Prerequisites: Animal physiology
Course content: Importance of aquaculture in Poland and elsewhere. Main species of aquaculture animals. Husbandry and breeding in aquaculture – crayfishes, crabs, shrimps, catfish and selected mariculture animals.
