The elective subject is the practical knowledge of Forensic Veterinary. The students construct expert opinions on basis of dossier. The expert opinion and other documents are needed to judicature proceedings. On basis of the documents the court passes the verdict. Students are taught the norms of conducting proceedings to demonstrate a professional errors commit very often. The course embodies the laboratory tissue (hairs and bones) identification of various animals.Competences:
After completing a course “Veterinarian as a veterinary forensic expert“ on basis of obligatory course student acquires competences such as the expert in cases where the animals are the subject matter of the litigation. The students can be an actor which leading title role of court proceedings trial. The students can be the translators to render services for jurisdiction about Forensic Veterinary because this is needed to settlement of a court dispute. Prerequisites:
Forensic Veterinary obligatory course, Pathology, Microbiology, Farmacology, Toxicology, Parasitology, Biochemistry and Laboratory diagnostics. Course content:
The objectives of this course are to enable the students the practical knowledge in the field of veterinary medicine The course gives the usefulness for the veterinary surgeon of the judicial procedure. The students receive a credit for a course to acquire the skill of speaking and to be competent for cases where the animals are the subject matter of the litigation. The students receive a credit of Forensic Veterinary and have the ability to occur in court, to edit veterinary documents and especially experts opinion and the students can be the translators to render services for jurisdiction about Forensic Veterinary because this is needed to settlement of a court dispute. The course provide some laboratory identification of animal species on the basis tissue pieces (hairs, bones). The course to determine a range of responsibility and to take responsibility lies with us work as a veterinary surgeon. Recommended literature:
