Students broad the knowledge obtained by students after basic course in dermatology and widening the scope dermatological diseases. They improve skills of proper identification and classification of the skin changes. Students acquire competence of proper material collection to further diagnostic procedures. Students get to know how to do simple simple diagnostic procedures individually. They also learn actual pharmaceutical offer for the treatment of dermatoses in animals.Competences:
Students gain skills ensuring basic competence for proper interpretation of the skin changes, differential diagnosis of diseases, to proper use of medications in the case of a specific disease and for special animal species that can be used in future professional work. The obtained informmation will allow for further education and broadening of knowledge in dermatology eg. professional speciality.Prerequisites:

The veterinary dermatology course contains information about most common skin diseases in small animals, farm animals but also exotic animals. The course discusses etiology of dermatoses, diagnostic procedures, clinical examination as well as treatment in selected diseases. Students are also instructed with pharmaceutical of treating of animals skin diseases.Recommended literature:
