Learning outcomes: Knows the procedure of introducing real estate into circulation; possesses the knowledge regarding the formulating of a real estate agency agreement; knows the notion of abusive contractual clauses, knows the civil, legal and professional responsibility of the real estate agent; possesses basic knowledge regarding the establishing and management of a real estate agency;
can retrieve information regarding real estate from literature, mortgage registers and other properly selected sources; can communicate within his professional environment using various techniques, knows how to establish cooperation with other real estate agencies; can prepare a study of a given real estate; can prepare and perform a presentation on the subject of a chosen real estate; can determine the directions for further learning and realise the process of self-education in the context of the need to improve one's qualifications regarding real estate brokerage;
Competences: taking into account the changing legal regulations regarding the real estate market, understands the need to learn throughout their lives; can determine the interest of their client and represent them.

Course content: Introduction to real estate brokerage. The real estate market: definition and short overview. Real estate as a market subject. The market environment of a transaction. The participants of real estate circulation. The real estate agent. The scope of professional responsibilities of a real estate agent. Real estate agency agreement. Initial agreement, exclusive use clause. Real estate brokerage procedures: determining the legal status of real estate, attracting potential clients and analysis of needs, client contact: principles of communication, attaining real estate for the transaction (accepting the offer), transaction progress documentation. Preparing real estate for purchase (with elements of advertising). Creating real estate databases. Cooperating with other real estate agents. The real estate agent: international scope of qualifications. Improving one's qualifications as a real estate agent. Professional organisations of real estate agents and professional standards with elements of professional ethics. The professional, civil and legal responsibility of the real estate agent. Financial and legal security in real estate brokerage. The notary public in real estate brokerage. The art of argumentation: negotiating, conflict. The fundamentals of marketing and psychology: the notion of the marketing system, the 4P theory (product, place, price, promotion), distribution, client diversification, market segmentation.Recommended literature:
