Learning outcomes: Knowledge: -Discusses the rules for writing an expert opinion based on court documents. -Explains how to follow the law and Veterinary Medicine ethic. -Outlines the principles of sampling the additional tests material from different species of domestic animals. -Discussed methods of identifying tissue (hair, bones, physical evidence). Practical skills: -Has the competence to an expert witness in the field of veterinary medicine. -Takes samples, fixes, and describes material for additional tests.

Competences: Can act as an expert witness in the field of veterinary medicine.

Prerequisites: Forensic Veterinary obligatory course, Pathology, Microbiology, Farmacology, Toxicology, Parasitology, Biochemistry and Laboratory diagnostics.

Course content: The objectives of this course are to enable the students the practical knowledge in the field of veterinary medicine The course gives the usefulness for the veterinary surgeon of the judicial procedure. The students receive a credit for a course to acquire the skill of speaking and to be competent for cases where the animals are the subject matter of the litigation. The students receive a credit of Forensic Veterinary and have the ability to occur in court, to edit veterinary documents and especially experts opinion and the students can be the translators to render services for jurisdiction about Forensic Veterinary because this is needed to settlement of a court dispute. The course provide some laboratory identification of animal species on the basis tissue pieces (hairs, bones). The course to determine a range of responsibility and to take responsibility lies with us work as a veterinary surgeon.
