Learning outcomes: Knowledge The student has knowledge of the methods of collection, storage and digital images processing. He knows the basics of digital methods in photogrammetry and remote sensing. Student has a general, theoretical knowledge of the probabilistic methods and artificial intelligence used to classify the content of digital images. Skills Student can perform advanced digital image transformation based on the tools available in the general and specialized software packages used in photogrammetry, remote sensing, geodesy and cartography. Can individually implement the basic algorithm of digital image processing. Social competences: Is aware and understands non - technical aspects and impact of using the technology acquisition and digital image processing in engineering work.

Course content: The basic methods and techniques of digital image processing. Applications of digital image processing techniques in digital photogrammetry, remote sensing, cartography and geodesy. Implementation of digital image processing in VB.
