Learning outcomes: The knowledge on forms of land morphology, the factors of their origin, as well as on the relationships between environmental factors (geology, land morphology, climate, biosphere, human impact) and functioning and value (fertility) of soils is gained. Student acquires skills permitting the recognition of basic soil types, their evaluation, and preparation of soil classification map and soil-agricultural map.

Competences: Passing the course permits working in geodesy companies allowed to classification (evaluation) of arable and forest soils, as well as working in public administration at assessment and acceptance of documentation of arable and forest soil evaluation.

Prerequisites: -

Course content: Structure of earth system. Endogenic and egzogenic forces influencing morphology of earth surface. Morphological forms of land surface. Basic minerals and rocks.
