The course in English will be available if a minimum of 6 students sign up for a group. If less than 6 students sign up for the group, the course will be available in Polish with the possibility of individual support in English.

Learning outcomes: Knowledge: The students knows properties, criteria quality estimation, packaging recycling and design principles. They can also choose the packaging for respective food products. Skills: The student knows the principles of quality packing estimation for the correctness of packing materials chosen for food products and also for packaging manufacture.

Competences: Social skills (Attitude): The students knows to project of packing – knows of propriety of packing from ecological point of view.

Prerequisites: General food technology, process engineering, engineering drawing

Course content: Functions of packing. Normalization and design of packing. Properties of primary packaging materials. Packaging technologies. Package recycling.
