Learning outcomes: The student after completion of the course should know the basics of spatial shaping, he should be able to determine the conditions for proper building of spatial forms should know what methods to obtain the required task target and practically apply in the design of landscape architecture.

Competences:

Prerequisites: It is recommended that students takes part in the observation of the artistic life /exhibitions and other events/, and possibly participates in the open air activities.

Course content: Subject program includes classes in building of a spatial form / sculpture / and search for its relationship with the environment. Tasks topics: 1. Sculpture in the vertical arrangement. 2. Spatialisation of a solid. 3. Spatial form with the openwork. 4. Sculpture based on the contrast of forms. 5. Rhythm - a key element in building of a sculpture. 6. Spatial form of the \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"open\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" character. 7. Using durable / stone, wood, etc. / and the variable material / water / build the whole set. 8. Design the “gateway - passage”. 9. Based on the analysis of the natural creation / stick, fruit, root / build sculpture. 10. Build a three interrelated spatial elements. 11. Search in the selected environment - the scale of the spatial object / sculptures /, drawing sketches, photos. 12. Connection of sculpture-spatial form with elements of environment / stone, tree, etc. / required drawing sketches, model. 13. Spatial and drawing sketches of sculptural form in the selected open surroundings / provide alternatives. / present alternatives /. 14. Spatial and drawing sketches / alternatives / of sculptural form in the selected urban environment. 15. Build a simple garden architecture – with an indication of the spatial relationships of the occurring there elements /model, drawing and spatial sketches.
