Learning outcomes: KNOWLEDGE:  student has knowledge in economic law – public and private,  student has knowledge about structures and the institution of the economic law itself,  student has knowledge concerning the legal situation of the entrepreneur and legal aspects of conducting a business activity,  student has knowledge about significant amendments occurring to the economic law. SKILLS:  student is able to interpret regulations of the economic law correctly,  student is able to use acquired theoretical knowledge of the specific regulations to the analysis of the economic law.

Competences: PERSONAL AND SOCIAL COMPETENCES:  the student understands the essence of education in the field of legal issues,  the student develops his communications skills in order to exchange knowledge in the law field

Prerequisites:

Course content: Introduce to the commercial law, situating the commercial law within legal science, standard bases of the economic freedom in Poland, the act of the proprietorship, principles of procedure and performing the business entity (sole proprietorship), concept of the entrepreneur and classification of entrepreneurs, common institutions for entrepreneurs, private companies, capital companies in the organization, capital companies, comparison between capital companies and private companies, government agencies, duties concerning registration entrepreneurs, bankruptcy and rehabilitation law – general description, acts of the unfair competition, commercial contract/trade agreement – general issues, principles associated with issues of the trade agreements, changes of contents of the agreement, responsibility of entrepreneurs, agreements with the participation of consumers, protection of the consumer: prohibited clauses, draw up of the agreements out of premises of the enterprise, draw up of the agreements from a distance, consumer sale.
