Learning outcomes: He knows thecharacteristics of the environmental groups common species of aquatic animals [BH2-W01; R2A_W01]. It is characterized by the construction of food webs in aquatic ecosystems [BH2-W04; R2A_W03] He understands the need to protect the waters and their resources and the need to maintain or restore biodiversity in rivers, lakes and the Baltic Sea [BH2-W13, R2A_W06]. Has sufficient knowledge to describe and explain phenomena and processes in the aquatic environment [BH2-W04; R2A_W03] He has in-depth knowledge of the research methods of the aquatic environment [BH2-W04; R2A_W03] Organizes research in the field of assessment of the aquatic environment in the field and in the laboratory [BH2_U10; R2A-U06]. Creates a correct statement of the results of research [BH2_U10; R2A-U06]. Course content: Biology and the importance of animal organisms that inhabit the inland waters of Poland. The program provides basic information about the taxonomy of aquatic animals, methods of sampling for research, teaching skills to recognize and describe the aquatic fauna. The course covers the basics ecological animal life in inland waters flowing and standing, and selected areas of the seas and oceans, taking into account contemporary problems of pollution of the aquatic environment and the need to protect certain species of aquatic animals.
