Learning outcomes: W01 - It has an extended knowledge of the biology of organisms aquaculture [BH2 - W01; R2A_W01], W02 - It has an advanced knowledge of the environment formation through the development of aquaculture [BH2 - W05; R2A_W03], W03 - It has an extended knowledge of the protection of biodiversity of animals [BH2 - W13; R2A_W06] U01 - It has the ability to accurately communicate with the various stakeholders in the form of verbal, written and graphical [BH2 - U02; R2A_U02, R2A_U03], U02 - Understand and apply the appropriate technologies [BH2 - U03; R2A_U03]; U03 - It has a profound ability to prepare oral presentations about aquaculture in Polish language [BH2 - U14; R2A_U09]

Prerequisites:

Course content: -Importance of aquaculture in Poland and elsewhere. Main species of aquaculture animals. Husbandry and breeding in aquaculture – fish, crayfishes, crabs, shrimps, catfish and selected mariculture animals.
