Learning outcomes: Students acquire advanced theoretical knowledge related to modern techniques of precision agriculture in agricultural engineering and forestry. Acquire advanced knowledge to optimize the use of resources and production potential of land plants, with minimal risks to the environment. The student acquires an extensive own ability to use modern farming techniques, navigation and information technology for the efficient use of the means of production on the farm. Demonstrates ability to identify needs and select the appropriate GPS system to the production company. Student thoroughly analyzes and optimizes information about natural variability of the area and uses them to precise agrotechnical of agricultural and forestry production.

Competences: Student demonstrates understanding of the phenomena occurring between the sphere of agricultural machine - a cultivated plant. Recognizes the need for continuous self-improvement and the need for training in advanced precision farming systems, including agricultural and forestry production. Demonstrates knowledge of activities to improve the quality of production, improve the work on the farm and allow for saving both the means of production and labor, and at the same time protect the environment.

Prerequisites: Agricultural machinery, exploitation farm machinery

Course content: Structure, organization and functioning of the GPS systems of spatial information technology in agricultural production systems, precise handling machine on the field of precision agriculture technologies in remote sensing and evaluating fertilizing plant nutrition.
