Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Student: W1 - knows the detailed characteristics of the various stages of ontogenetic development of man [KB2_W01_BC] W2 - knows and describes the endogenous and exogenous factors affecting development, disrupting and accelerate development, explains the importance of secular trend, acceleration and retardation for changes in population [KB2_W06, KB2_W03_BC] W3 - understands the impact of environmental conditions on the feasibility of genetic potential, he knows the methods of evaluating the adequacy of human development [KB2_W04_BC] W4 - understands the basics of epidemiology, basic threats to health and human development, the impact of lifestyle on health [KB2_W06, KB2_W06_BC] Skills: Student: U1-assess the validity of physical and motor development of children and young people can apply research techniques to evaluate the changes occurring with age in all stages of ontogeny, is able to assess the socio-economic conditions of the population and their impact on development and human health [KB2_U01_BC] U2 - can describe the genetic and environmental determinants of the structure and function of the human body [KB2_U02_BC] U3 - can and need to measure the size of morphological and some physiological characteristics, knows how to properly use the equipment for measurement test [KB2_U02]

Competences: Social competence (attitudes): Student: K1 - is aware of the risks to health and human development resulting from the progress of civilization, has been promoting health education in the immediate environment [KB2_K04] K2 - can responsibly and effectively cooperate in [KB2_K02]

Prerequisites: Physical anthropology

Course content: Factors affecting the development of progressive successive stages of ontogenesis. Characteristic periods of ontogenesis. Methods to control the correct development. Effect of environmental factors on human health. Civilization health risks.

Assessment methods: The current rating (based on oral statements) progress and activity. The presence of the exercises is compulsory, the student may have only one unauthorized absence. Students holding a valid pass a written practice test (25 - 30 closed questions) in the examination session. The test lasts 30 minutes. If you will fail the test the first time the student has the right to re-take it orally or in writing.
