Learning outcomes: After completing the course students are capable of individual realizing the food market surveys, of estimating and interpreting their results and exploiting these results in food business administration.

Competences: Knowledge and practical skills gained in the course of the study are essential for food business administration and for work in sales and marketing departments.

Prerequisites: Microeconomics, macroeconomics

Course content: Consumer’s needs, food products, classification and characterization of markets, factors influencing consumer demand and food prices levels, consumer behaviour theory, marketing research methodology, marketing management.

Comment: The food market field research is essential for the project.
