Learning outcomes: W01 – student knows the basic climate factors and weather creative factors, additionally student knows causes of their variability [BH1_W06]; W02 – students has a general knowledge about climatic variations influence on the differentiation of living organisms [BH1_W01]; W03 – student can describe the influence of changing weather conditions on the functioning of living organisms [BH1_W11]; W04 – student knows influence of basic anthropogenic factors of air environmental on animals [BH1_W09]. U01 -student properly handles the equipment for microclimatic measuring [BH1_U04]; U02 – student explains the interactions between air environment and living organisms [BH1_U12]; U03 – student can identify the threats to the Earth's atmosphere resulting from human activity [BH1_U04]; U04 – student knows how to interpret and explain the reasons of meteotropism complaints [BH1_U05];

Competences: K01 – student understands effects of meteorological phenomena in nature [BH1_K01]; K02 – student has responsibility for entrusted equipment [BH1_K11]; K03 – student can keep safety rules connection with the prevalence of hazards in the environment [BH1_K09]; K04 – student shows interest in a systematic updating of knowledge on the impact of variable weather conditions on living organisms, understands the need to supplement the knowledge acquisition and lifetime [BH1_K01].

Prerequisites: physics (or biophysics)

Course content: climate factors and their influence on climate types; weather factors and their variability; relationship between weather factors; influences of meteorological elements on human and animal organism; adaptation to defined climate conditions, acclimatization; adaptation to changing weather conditions, meteotropismus, climatotherapy.
