Learning outcomes: Knowledge: He knows the extent of the use of spatial data base of regulations setting out rules for the collection and sharing of spatial data. Knows models of spatial data processing rules, harmonization, integration and generalization of data. He knows the basics WebGIS and VGI. He knows the role of standardization in the construction of GIS. Skills: Able to develop a conceptual diagram of the GIS system, it is able to implement the software GeoMedia and QGIS. It can perform simple and complex GIS analysis. He can perform the basic steps of generalization. Social skills: Demonstrates understanding of the importance of spatial information and its impact on the development of the national economy

Prerequisites: information technology, spatial information systems I

Course content: GIS application area. GIS in public administration. Products PZGiK. The modeling of spatial data. UML basics. Standardization and normalization in the GIS. The processing of spatial data. Integration and harmonization of data. Generalization. GIS on the Internet. VGI. Practical implementation of GIS.
