Learning outcomes: Students become familiar with modern technologies of trees and decorative shrubs production. They can plan technology of production of selected trees, shrubs and climbers. Students get to know the requirements set by horticulture market which should be met regarding high quality of nursery material, especially avenue trees and shrubs planted along the streets. .

Competences: Students are able to plan technology of production involving particular groups of plants. They also know modern systems of trees and shrubs production , paying a special attention to environmental protection. To this end they can choose appropriate machines for production of trees and decorative shrubs.

Prerequisites: Dendrology, ornamental plants, nursery

Assessment methods: To acquire credits students have to possess knowledge about modern systems and technologies of trees and decorative shrubs production – minimum scope amounts 70 % of the material provided during classes. Another requirement involves multimedia presentation dealing with technology of production of a selected plant species.
