Learning outcomes: Students acquire basic knowledge of the functioning of plant organisms at the level of cells and tissues. The student knows the basic biochemical processes in plant cells and bacteria. The student knows the morphological and anatomical structure of vascular plants and the student knows the basic systematic group of vascular plants. Student can identify the basic differences in the morphology and anatomy of plants and associate them with the adaptation of plants to their habitat.

Competences: Student demonstrates knowledge of basic life functions of plants in conjunction with the state of the environment.

Prerequisites: -

Course content: Photosynthesis and chemosynteza. Biochemical changes occurring in plant cells during storage of agricultural products. Construction and modification of the root, shoot, leaf. Methods of plant propagation. The importance of water, macro-and micronutrients in the life of the plant. Systematic review of the plant. Structure of the selected ecosystems.
