Learning outcomes: Student get the knowledge about the basis of heating and refrigeration in agricultural and food industry

Competences: After completing the course student will be know about the different methods and equipments for heating and refrigeration, will be able to do some calculations, in agriculture and food industry.

Prerequisites: Physics, Thermodynamics, Electrotechnics

Course content: The machinery and equipment in heating and refrigeration, characteristic of boilers and heat exchangers, electrical and condensing units, ventilation, compressor units, coolers, measuring-regulation units, insulation,theory and energy balances, calculation of storage plants
