Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Student W1 - define the concept of hippotherapy, physical rehabilitation, physiotherapy [BH1_W11, R1A_W04]; W2 - selects and describes the breed of horses suitable for hippotherapy [BH1_W07, R1A_W03, R1A_W05, InzA_W01; BH1_W13, R1A_W03, R1A_W05, InzA_W01]; W3 - make a plans of hippotherapy centers and centers for the breeding and training of horses for hippotherapy [BH1_W21, R1A_W02, R1A_W04, R1A_W09, InzA_W04]. Skills: Student U1 - selects hippotherapy horses suitable for children and adults [BH1_U10, R1A_U06, InzA_U01]; U2 - plans horses training for hippotherapeutical courses [BH1_U09, R1A_U06, InzA_U01]; U3 - designing the main elements of the hippotherapy centers [BH1_U02, R1A_U02; BH1_U03, R1A_U03, InzA_U01].

Competences: Student K1- is open and sensitive to the problems of people with disabilities [BH1_K01, R1A_K01, R1A_K07; BH1_K02, R1A_K02]; K2 - is aware of the possibility of the use of horses in the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities [BH1_K04, R1A_K03, InzA_K01].

Prerequisites: Horse breeding

Course content: Basic concepts of rehabilitation, physiotherapy, forms of hippotherapy, kinds of security, horse training in hippotherapy, hippotherapy centers organization.
