Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Knows the basiccharacteristics ofthe constructioninvestment project, its divisioninto stagesand phasesas well as variousconstructionsystems, understands the essence ofdifferent models ofproject management, knows the variety ofrelationshipbetween design optionsand formulas inthe organizationof the project. Understandsthe relationship betweencost of the implementation andeffectiveness ofthe project;knows theessence oflogistics managementin projectsbuilding, knowsrisk factorsassociatedwith the implementation ofprojects andrisk management; understandsthe factorsdescribing theplaceof the company asa market participantand the principles of company’s marketing strategies and development. Skills: Candescribeimplementation procedure of the projectfor different systems of execution; knows how topresent therelationshipbetween design processand formulasin the organization ofthe project;is able todetermine the relationshipbetween the costof the implementation andeffectivenessof the project, is ableto analyse thelogistics processesin materials management, is able to define therisk factorsin the building processand to definetheirhierarchy, knows how toprepare thebasic data for thepreparation oftherisk management plan; can define the factorsdescribing theplaceof the company asa market participantand the principles of company’s marketing strategies and development.

Competences: Is aware ofthe complexityand importance ofthe constructionprojectmanagement processas a basis foreffective management,understand it’s market interactions, can assign appropriate priorities to particularinvestment objectives.
