Learning outcomes: Knowledge: The student learns chosen religion and science, which investigates these phenomena. He learns to define basic concepts of religion related sciences. He becomes aware of the nature of religion in its various concrete manifestations. He acquires basic knowledge of the most well-known concepts of the genesis, function and history of religions and of different research methods in religious studies. Skills: He can carry search, analyse, evaluate, select, and obtain information on the phenomena of religion and religiosity using various sources. Into account the influence of religious values and traditions in different areas of life. Can express his own views and ideas on important social and ideological.

Competences: Personal and social competences (attitudes and behaviors): He gets aware of the importance of their own religious tradition or worldview for their life choices and their relation to other cultures and traditions. He gain awareness of the impact of religious attitudes, behaviors and decisions in various spheres of human life. He gets ties with the people aware of their own ideological options in the region, country, Europe. He can cultivate their own spiritual heritage while respecting and understanding of the followers of other religions in the world.

Prerequisites: Humanities at the matriculation (A-levels) examination

Course content: Basic concepts, definitions and classifications of religion, the development of religion, research methods of contemporary religion. Research on religion and religious of primitive peoples. The oldest religions of the magazine. Monotheism - Abrahams\' religions. The specificity of Asian religions. Contemporary processes religion.
