Prerequisites: Physiology and anatomy of horse, horse breeding

Course content: The subjects covered in the course include the skills of organization and holding of competitions horse different disciplines. Students learns the investigation process from proposal development of competition through the documentation of riders and horses to the final report. He also learns how to assess horses and riders in various disciplines.

Assessment methods: Skills U1, U2 will be verified during practical activities (equestrian competitions – 2h). The basis of assessment is the correct evaluation of riders, faced with the scores by judges. The competences K1 and K3 will be verified before the competition, on the basis of the oral assessment of training riders. Verification of skill U3 will take place at the PTWK Partynice Competence K2 will be evaluated on the basis of the project of construction of obstacles (work in groups of 2-3 persons). Attendance at school is obligatory, tolerated is only 1 unexcused absence. Absences (up to 3) are classified on the basis of a written development of missing classes. The basis for passing class is the average ratings and a result of the test. The basis of assessment of the course is completion of exercise. Knowledge (W1, W2, W3, W4) and skill U4 will be verified on the basis of a written test, when student responds to the 10 problematic questions. Test duration is 45 minutes. To obtain credit, the student need correctly answer at least 6 questions. If the test is not passed in the first term, the student can to submit oral or written form next time.
