Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Student knows how to find a problem and then how to approach problem to solve it. He/She knows how to write technical papers – projects in area of animal husbandry. He/she knows how to avoid plagiarism in his/her own work. Skills: Student is independent in critical searching variable sources of information to use them in preparing engineer thesis and other technical projects. He/she is able to write professional technical papers in area of animal husbandry, esp. an engineer thesis.

Competences: Personal and social competences (attitudes and behaviors): Student is aware of his/her professional presence in solving problems and explaining animal husbandry issues to other professionals and to the society.

Prerequisites: non

Course content: Substantial requirements for engineer thesis (project) in area of animal husbandry. The use of different sources of information (internet, text-books, periodicals, scientific journals, interviews) and critical attitude to their contents. Plagiarism. The use of professional terms and language. The art of asking questions – finding problems to be solved. Creating methodological schemes to solve problems. Composition of engineer thesis (layout and proportions of contents). Editing tables, figures, schemes and summaries. Formulating conclusions, recommendations. SWOT analysis. Examples of engineer thesis.
