Learning outcomes: Knowledge: The student gains practical information on the functioning of the production company in a market economy. He identifies the methods, techniques, systems, processes and production cycles. Associates and recognizes the basic requirements of the production process. Defines division and functional characteristics of the equipment used to process materials. Defines the parameters of the processes, recognizes the basic construction and machinery and equipment regulations and explains how they work. He plans simple manufacturing processes, taking into account: the size of the production, process efficiency, diversity of manufactured products. He has knowledge of the rules for the implementation production standards and procedures for obtaining approvals and certificates. Student has knowledge of the practice of preparation, control and production company. It is prepared to analyze the technological processes of production and the design and planning of selected processes. Skills: The student gains practical skills to apply theoretical knowledge covered by the curriculum, recognizes their future working environment. Acquires the ability to choose appropriate methods and process parameters. He has the ability to apply appropriate nomenclature within the production work and workshops. He distinguishes relevant materials processing systems depending on the changing conditions of production, processing and used technology, required quality parameters and has the ability to select materials. The student is educated to ability to perceive, organize and solve technical problems in the field of production engineering. He acquires the ability to make practical analysis of the production process, regeneration and repair.

Competences: Personal and social competences: The student demonstrates understanding of the proper selection principles of parameters of technology and manufacturing processes, renewal and repair. He complies safety rules during the works. He acknowledges the need to work in a team and has responsibility for the entrusted property. Student recognizes the principle of good regulation and operation of the technical plant equipment. He demonstrates the need for self-improvement and training in the field of production work.

Prerequisites: Materials science, machine parts, graphics engineering, business law, manufacturing processes, enterprise logistics, production management and services, ergonomics and safety, the protection of intellectual property.

Course content: Practical training which student takes in the industrial plants which engaged in economic activities and they are carried out in production processes or renewal processes. Principles of organization of the establishment, the organizational structure of the plant, the production profile, circulation of documents relating to the production and understanding of other activities carried out by the establishment. Practical solutions of quality management systems of the production processes, the principles of occupational health and safety and environmental protection. Recognizing the procedures and methods of work organization and the procedures for implementing production standards. Methods of identification processes and parameters characterizing the process and methods of their control. Knowledge about the enterprise logistics system, the organization of the distribution and sales of final rules and familiarize yourself with the computer systems of collecting, processing and sharing of data in the field of management, preparation and organization of production in the company.

Assessment methods: Assessment of learning outcomes in terms of knowledge: oral exam covering issues: the organization of work and production, quality management systems, production documentation, selection of methods and materials processing techniques, proper selection of used machinery and equipment and selection of process parameters. Assessment of learning outcomes in terms of skills: assessment of entries in the journal practice, evaluation of the student's accumulated technical and technological documentation and assessment of implementation reports from practice. Assessment of learning outcomes in terms of social competence: discussion teamwork principles, the impact assessment decisions irregularities in the production management and selection of materials processing methods and evaluation principles of organization in the workplace and department. Assessment of the observance of applicable laws.
