Learning outcomes: Knowledge: A general knowledge of the systems, techniques, equipment and tools used in the production of agricultural and forestry field. Elementary knowledge of the systems, techniques and equipment used in food processing. Elementary knowledge of systems, technologies, techniques and equipment used in animal production. Skills: Student will know how to develop documentation on the task of engineering and prepare a text containing a discussion of the results of this task. Also solve problems using standard engineering activities and operational production problems in the field of agricultural engineering and forestry, while taking account of the requirements associated with care for the environment.

Competences: Student is aware of the importance, responsibility and consequences of the activity of an engineer agricultural and forestry in terms of responsibility for the quality of food and the environment, understand the non-technical aspects of the business. Awareness of conduct in a professional manner, identifying and solving problems related to their work, the principles of professional ethics and respect for the common good

Prerequisites: Working knowledge of the mechanisms of tractors and agricultural and forestry tractors and machinery and equipment for food processing food, basic knowledge of metrology

Course content: The construction of drive systems and control machinery and equipment, cooperation members kinematic energy streams flow, the impact forces and moments on the stability of members, members relative movement speed, friction in sliding and rotational motion, lubrication, heat and ways of dissipation, heat flux and flow changing its parameters.
