Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Student: It has a basic understanding of the biology of plants, animals and micro-organisms, it knows the stages of development and principles of organic evolution in nature and farming, it has a knowledge of the mechanisms, factors and laws of micro-and macro-evolution [BH1 – W01; R1A_W01] Skills: Student: It examines the evolutionary and biological processes associated with animal husbandry, it practices basic research methods evolutionary in nature and in the breeding experiment [BH1 – W05; R1A _ U05].

Competences: K1 - It understands the need for learning throughout life, shows understanding of evolutionary phenomena in nature and in the domestic conditions [BH1 - K01;R1A _ K01, R1A _ K07]

Prerequisites: zoology, genetics

Course content: Evolution - is a biologic phenomenon, the emergence of the idea of the history of evolution, Darwin's theory of evolution, artificial selection (the formation of races) and the natural history of the emergence of life and the development of biota, the factors and mechanisms of evolution, micro-and macro-evolution, progression and regression, evolution and phylogeny onto, law and regularity of evolution, modern evolutionary theory.
