Learning outcomes: Knowledge Student: W1 - describes themorphology of organisms, invertebrate and vertebrate animals as a function of adaptive to the environment at every level of the organization[BC1_W06; BC1_W07; BC1_W11]; W2 - explains therelationship between the structure and function of organs and animals[BC1_W07, BC1_W08]; W3 - describes the basictaxons of animals and knows their systematic positions[BC1_W11,BC1_W12]; Skills Student: U1 - virtuallyrecognizes affiliation or species based on morphology. Uses a keys to determining the appropriate animals. Taxonomic affiliation and interpret empirical data underlying the conclusions and in the context of evolutionary theory[BC1_U10]; U2 -knowsmicroscopy and preparation of documentation based on the observation of specimens[BC1_U12]; U3 - learnsindependentlyin a directiona[BC1_U14].

Competences: Social comptetences and attitudes StudentŁ K1 - has aresponsibility entrusted to equipment and biological specimens[BC1_K08].

Prerequisites:

Course content: Featuresa systematic and biology of selected animal organisms at the individual level, species, population with particular emphasis on taxa that are in frequent relationship with a man: invertebrate animals and vertebrate as a threat to human health, livestock and useful, and animals protected and creating biodiversity in the environment of human. Elected representatives of the insects and their development cycles as a source of information in forensic expertise.

Assessment methods: written test(45 closed questions, multiple choice and 5 open-ended questions) covering the range of knowledge presented in lectures, exercises and self-study proposed. The test lasts 100 minutes. regular (2 times a month) written tests to assess the current rating (based on oral statements) progress and activity. The presence of the exercises is mandatory, the student may have only one unexcused absence. In the case of excused absences a student is required to pass the relevant part of the material. Pass classes based on grade point average.
