Knows basic soil-forming factors and processes, as well as the most important properties of soils and their basic functions and ecological utility. Familiar with the basic scheme and the valuation of soils and other methods of economic assessment of agro-ecosystems. Skills: Performs, under the mentors guidance, simple research tasks (basic measurements of physical and chemical properties of soils) and the projects on the fields of broadly understood agriculture. Applies the simple mathematical tools to interpret the results and assess their credibility. Can interpret the results and to formulate correct conclusions. Retains the principle of safety in the laboratory.

Competences: Social competence: Able to work individually and in groups, assuming different roles in it.
