Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Student can describe and explain the issues related to the topic of the diploma dissertation, knows the research methods used in the field of food science and human nutrition and understands their principles. Skills: Student can formulate the aim of the dissertation, choose the experimental methodology and find the resources which validate the research.

Competences: Social skills (Attitudes): Student is aware of the progress of knowledge in the field of agricultural sciences, particularly in food technology and human nutrition; can independently and critically supplement their knowledge and skills in related fields of science; can assess preparation and presentation of issues related to the topics of other students’ diploma dissertations; takes active part in discussions.

Prerequisites: technologies relevant to students’ specialisation

Course content: associated with the problems relevant to the topics of the students’ diploma dissertations.

Recommended literature: Polish and foreign-language professional journals in the fields of agriculture, food technology, and human nutrition.

Assessment methods: Preparation and presentation of topics related to the development of the M.Sc. dissertations, active participation in discussions.
