Learning outcomes: Knowledge Student has spatial imagination shaped; knows methods for recording space formations on the plane; can specify characteristics of these methods; knows the basics geometric representations used in general technical drawings and construction industry; he knows standards for technical drawings forms and rules. Skills Can apply methods of mapping on the plane of imposed or created in the imagination objects; knows how to create an axonometric image of the object; can practically apply the principles of geometry in general engineering drawing; apply knowledge of standardization for the proper presentation, labeling and dimensioning of objects on technical drawings.

Competences: Student is able to look for links between the regularities existing in geometry and other areas of science; can develop the skills for further learning on the basis of the knowledge gained in the field of geometry and technical drawing.

Prerequisites: -

Course content: Orthographic projection on two viewports (Monge method) - mapping and coincidences of lines and planes; projections of polyhedrons, projection planes sections; planes projections and projection planes sections; common parts of straight lines with polyhedrons and surfaces. Mapping of point, line and plane in calibrated projection; application of calibrated projection to determine the slope of earth structures. Axonometry. Formats and drawing sheet form, drawing lines, monochromatic graphic signs of elements on architectural, construction and installation drawings, rules of objects and elements dimensioning, reproduced drawings.
