Learning outcomes: The student has knowledge of mathematical modelling of rheological processes. He associates phenomena occurring while processing with physical and rheological properties of agricultural raw materials. He can assess the impact of selected physical and rheological properties on the quality of agricultural products. He has the ability to plan and carry out experiments aimed to determine the basic properties of agricultural products, at the same time he can adequately interpret the results and form conclusions.

Competences: He feels the need for continuous training in the methods used to evaluate the factors affecting the quality of agricultural products. He is aware of the importance and responsibility for actions to improve the quality of food products.

Prerequisites: physics, the biological basis of agriculture

Course content: Shape, tribological properties, mechanical strength, viscoelastic characteristics, mathematical modeling, texture, color, thermal properties.
