Learning outcomes: Knowledge: The student posseses the knowledge about the use of the theoretical concepts learnt the university, to plan and then to conduct the research in practice, and to present the result in the master theses. The gained knowledge contains managerial sciences and the bases of running the business activities. This knowledge covers also marketing and marketing fuctions. The student knows and understands basic processes of market analysis: formulating research plans, data gathering, data analysis and interpretation and finally preparing the research reports. Skills: The graduate is capable of interpreting and explaining the market processes. He or she posses the capability of runnnig marketing analysis, marketing planning and formulating reports in this field.

Competences: Social competencies: The student understands the need of continous learning and continous improving competencies in the field of management and marketing.

Prerequisites: Marketing, Management, Market research

Course content: The process of planning the master theses, selection of data sources, conducting the research ,data analysis and interpretation. Preparing the theses conclusion and arranging for formal side of theses.

Assessment methods: knowledge : the level of knowledge concerned with methodology of scientific research and principles of scientific writing is evaluated on the bases of written tests. skills: students are evaluated on the bases of individually conducted research, social competencies: competencies are evaluated on the bases of public presentation of subsequent chapters of master's thesis and then presentation of the whole thesis.
