Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Student has a general knowledge in the range of animal production; has a general knowledge in the range of animal origin raw materials; knows the rules of animal origin raw materials technology; has a general knowledge in the range of animal origin raw materials production safety. Skills: Student is able to perform an assessment of animal origin raw materials in an independent way; analyses physiological and biological processes occurring during animal origin raw materials production; can interfere into the processes of animal origin raw materials production at each stage of their production.

Competences: Student is aware the responsibility for the results of improperly led technology of animal origin raw materials production; is aware of the need of completion of the knowledge in the range of animal origin raw materials production safety; is able to undertake the aware activities protecting animal origin raw materials production in an accordance with its safety.

Prerequisites: Basis of the animal production

Course content: Features of animal origin raw materials and their assessment; analysis of particular stages of animal origin raw materials production, effect of species, breed, age, feeding on basic features of animal origin raw materials.
