Learning outcomes: Knowledge: The student gains the knowledge of the nature and methods of production management and services, and in the field of agricultural production scheduling. Student defines the theoretical and empirical basis for logistics patterns in the rules within and materials management. The student acquires the knowledge of storage technology based on the technical means of transport on which the functional activities in management. Skills: Students acquire the ability to apply theoretical principles to the management and operation of logistics operators and application of scheduling for selected agricultural production. Acquires the ability to select the appropriate system for the type of business. The student acquires the ability to organize the work of transport equipment in the plant and warehouse distribution. Determines the cost of goods storage and production capacity of the company.

Competences: Student demonstrates understanding of the basic principles of production management and services. Evaluates and explains the basic processes occurring in the enterprise. Shows the need for self-improvement and training in modern methods of production management and services, the use of the organization of transport systems in terms of minimizing labor costs and energy inputs

Prerequisites: mathematics, statistics

Course content: Production management, services, production capacity and agricultural production scheduling. The concept and importance of efficient and effective policies controlling flows of materials and products to optimize business processes. Processes, chains, systems, operations, and control flows of materials and products. Principles of preparing the processes analysis. Operational research in addressing transportation issues. Technical equipment storage and transport equipment used in warehouses, transport process and transport infrastructure. Measures and external handling, machinery and transport equipment cyclical.
