Learning outcomes: He knows the planning documents prepared at different levels of organization of the state (national, provincial, municipal), knows the powers of regional and local policy-making in the field of space, knows the consequences of the division of responsibilities and powers of local government in the field of spatial planning, are familiar with planning, knows the specialized planning documents spatial (protection plans, operational indicators spa) and legal relations that occur between the task of planning their own municipalities and other local authorities, government, administration, special, familiar environment and methodologies for assessing the socio-economic conditions for land use planning. Course content: The concept of space, planning and land use planning. The area as a rare. Planning rules, categories, rules (right, direction, regulation, rule). The structure of spatial planning and development in Poland: the national level - the concept of spatial development of the country, the regional - province zoning plan, the local level - the study of conditions and directions of spatial development of the municipality, local zoning plan. Development, planning instruments and tools to support the planning process. Space management in light of the distinct environments and water resources and related areas (swamps, peat bogs, meadows, low floodplain forest). Land use and settlement of the European Union - Water Directive and the Nitrates Directive as evidence in spatial planning: Water Framework Directive: Planning basin; Nitrates Directive planning in rural areas as areas exposed to pollution N; risk assessment outcome of the lack of the Water Framework Directive.
