Learning outcomes: knowledge: Students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of the fundamental processes occurring in technology, performance of typical buildings and facilities and the construction of machinery and equipment. skills: Students can obtain information from different sources Students can prepare in Polish or foreign study on transport equipment to move various materials including biomass and waste.

Competences: Recognizes the need for self-education and training. Is aware of the responsibilities and consequences of engineering for quality of life and the environment

Course content: The history of technology. The mechanical parts of machinery and equipment. Manufacturing technique. Operation of machinery and equipment. Operating Procedures. Hydraulic components. Water supply. Pumps for pumping fluids. Machine and the device of the thermal and gas technique. Electrical Engineering. Electric motors, combustion and gas engines. Building and civil engineering. Construction procedures. Wheeled and water transport. Transportation of hazardous materials. Conveyor belts. Tensions, screw, scrapers and pneumatic conveyors. Warehouses, types, equipment, handling systems. Natural ventilation and mechanical system components. Earthmoving machines. Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Technology in the development of green areas. Crushing equipment

Assessment methods: Assessment of learning outcomes in terms of knowledge: colloquia on exercises, exam. Evaluation of the effects of training in skills: Successful design reports and calculation exercises.
