Learning outcomes: Students achieve theoretical and practical knowledge concerned soil morphology and genesis and function in environment. During lectures the problems of organic soil degradation and protection with sustainable agriculture will be emphasized. Lectures and practical exercises will enable the students to treat organic soil as a impotent element of natural and agriculture environment.
Competences: After course completing students will be enable to conduct and supervise of organic soil management and soil protection.
Prerequisites: Basic of soil science.
Course content: Basis of organic soil genesis, soil sampling methods to measurement, organic soil physical, chemical parameters, hydrology – soil water retention, soil structure and specific porosity, water balances, water management in organic soil, soil protection and soil regeneration.
