Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Student has theoretical and practical knowledge of marketing analysis in agrobussines. He uses methods of classification of markets and assesses their value. Student is knowledgeable about the principles of marketing research methodology. Skills; Student recognizes marketing problems of companies in agrobussines . Independently, student plans and performs a marketing analysis of the company and uses the resulting conclusions in agrobussines management.

Competences: Social competence: The student understands the need to recognize and satisfy the needs of the client as an integral part of quality management in the agrobussines enteprise.

Prerequisites: Economics

Course content: Consumer’s needs. Classifaction and characterization of markets. Factors influencing consumer demand and levels of proces of agricultural products and foodstuffs. Consumer’s behaviour theory. Marketing research methodology. Marketing management.

Assessment methods: Knowledge: Written exam. Skills: Evaluation of the project of marketing analysis of a company related with food industry. Social competence: Validation of the selection of primary and secondary sources of marketing information. Evaluation of marketing analysis and presentation of its findings.
