Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Student presents design solutions for reducing fuel consumption in internal combustion engines. He knows the design and operation of of exhaust treatment systems. Describes the causes and effects of the negative impact of driving systems on agriculture and forestry grounds. Knows the technical means for their minimization. He describes the ecological methods of managing in agricultural technology. Student shows the process of formation and propagation of noise and vibration in technical devices and describes methods to reduce them. He knows the ways of improving the quality of the environment through the use of appropriate technical means in municipal economy and landscaping greenery. Skills: The student has the ability to evaluate design solutions for combustion engines and their equipment to reduce their burden on the environment. He can use the technical knowledge to reduce soil compaction by agriculture and forestry vehicles and machines and for the optimization of energy use from the engine. He assesses the suitability of technical solutions for the reduction of formation and propagation of noise and vibration in machinery and equipment. He is able to assess usefulness of the technological processes used in shaping the green areas in terms of environmental and economic.

Competences: Personal and social competences: The student demonstrated understanding of the issues related to the impact technical means and technological processes on the environment. Critically assesses the technical solutions used in environmental protection, taking into account of the nature, social and economic aspects.
