Learning outcomes: Knowledge: It has a basic knowledge in the design of systems and devices for the acquisition and use of energy the Earth R1 RES _W05 It has an elementary knowledge of law, economics R1 RES _W07 Has a general knowledge of systems, technologies, techniques, equipment and tools used in the production of energy from renewable sources. R1OŹE _W11 skills: Able to obtain information from the literature, databases, and other sources; can integrate the information obtained, to make their interpretation, as well as to draw conclusions and formulate and justify opinions. R1OŹE_U01 Able to identify and determine the specificity of simple engineering tasks and to develop documentation on the task of engineering and prepare a text containing a discussion of the results of this task R1OŹE _U03 Able to solve using standard engineering activities and operational production problems in the field of renewable energy sources, while taking account of the requirements associated with care for the environment R1OŹE _U11 He can make a preliminary analysis of the economic viability of production undertaken. R1OŹE _U13

Competences: Social competence: Is aware of the importance, responsibility and consequences of engineering activities towards renewable energy and waste management in terms of responsibility for the quality of life for people and the environment. Prerequisites: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

Course content: Design concepts for energy systems based on renewable energy sources in households and in the Region. Rules and algorithms design of diaphragm and nondiaphragm ground heat exchangers to improve the performance of the ventilation entrusted. Heat pumps and their lower heat source. Guidelines and requirements of the installation area. Investment procedures. The environmental risk assessment
