Learning outcomes: Knowledge: The student has knowledge of intellectual property protection Has knowledge of selected engineering problems and how to resolve some engineering problems in the environmental protection area. Skills: He can search major positions national and foreign literature on chosen issues and prepare a report based on literature. Interprets selected issues and solutions in the area of environmental protection in relation to the existing regulations Shall prepare a written report on the issue using the policies of writing scientific papers. Preparing a presentation on chosen issues using multimedia. Has the ability to forward its knowledge in the attractive form of oral presentation.

Competences: Social competences: Respects the principles of protect intellectual property for collecting, using and presentation of data. He uses rational arguments in favor of environmental protection principles. Understands the need for accessible and understandable communication of information to formulate opinions on the presented issues. Accepts otherness opinions of others and includes them in the discussion, while skillfully defend their arguments; to differences of opinion tends to compromise.

Prerequisites: Core subjects in the field of environment protection engineering studies (conducted in semesters 1-6)

Course content: Presentation of selected problems based review of the literature. A study written report on a selected topic according to the rules writing scientific texts. Preparing to write a thesis. Create professional presentations on selected topics, presentation of the issue of environmental protection in the form of oral, conducting discussions.
