Learning outcomes: Knowledge: He has a well-established spatial imagination, he lists and describes the method for recording of three-dimensional space on a plane, determines what they are characterized, he knows the basic principles of mutual relations between the components of space, he is able to define the types and use of drawing lines, he knows what methods to draw the projections of the spatial object and make its sections, knows how to create and read an axonometric image of the object; he knows how to create and read the writing on the projection with elevations (situational-elevation map), he shows a knowledge in the basics of technical drawing and architectural graphics. Skills: He has mastered reading skills in the spatial form of the object; he can save an three-dimensional object in projections on a plane, he can present the object in the axonometric sketch, he knows how to properly read architectural and urban drawings and is able to apply the principles of descriptive geometry in the design by creating a visualization of projects, understands the relationship between the projections of floor, and cross-sections and elevations in architectural-construction drawings; he is able to read technical drawing for the space.

Competences: Social competences (attitudes): He notes links and relationships occurring in the surrounding area, has understanding of correctness and connections of descriptive geometry with other fields of science; he can develop the skills for further learning based on knowledge of descriptive geometry, he can make his own graphic design in order to present it to potential investor.

Prerequisites: Mathematics, freehand drawing, construction, preliminary design principles

Course content: Technical drawing within the scope of types and applications of drawing lines, signs of elements of architectural-construction drawing and its dimensioning. Mapping principles by Monge's method of - line, plane, polygons, polyhedrons, surfaces and their projections. Plane sections and puncture points with line and shadows casted on the horizontal projection plane - used in architectural drawings. Fundamentals of axonometric projections. Sections of polyhedrons by a plane in the axonometry. Projections with elevations - mapping principles and use of projections with elevations in the design of earth structures - the slopes of horizontal objects and in a fall. Graphic illustration of the design idea in accordance with the principles of technical drawing.
