Learning outcomes: Knowledge: The student has an extended knowledge of the morphology and ecology of vascular plants, expands knowledge about the habitat requirements of different species of plants. He learns the concept of floristic diversity and recognizes the concept of biodiversity. Skills: The student can acquire knowledge and interpret them. He can describe the state of the vegetation and evaluate the degree of human impact.

Competences: Personal and competences: The student recognizes his/her responsibility to the environment, is aware of the variability occurring environment. Understands the need to work in interdisciplinary teams especially. Respect the principles of respect for copyright and intellectual property protection. He is aware the need for continuous education.

Prerequisites: Botany

Course content: Morphology, ecology and taxonomy of vascular plants, pollination biology and plant propagation, plant ecology extreme habitats, ecological groups of plants aquatic ecosystems, morphological and anatomical adaptation of plants to occupied habitat, protected plants
