Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Student knows: in theory and practically anatomical systems of principal animals species, - has knowledge about histology, descriptive and functional anatomy of animals, - understand and describe topographical anatomy and basis anatomy, especially alimentary and reproductive system, its structure and functions, - demonstrate good knowledge of anatomical terminology. Student become familiar with basic anatomy, - can examine spatial relations of animals body part and area and organ location, - understand principles of body workings in the basis of relations between structure and function of individual cells, tissue and organs, especially alimentary and reproductive system.

Competences: Student understand animals system structure and activities, – can use acquire knowledge in the other course during the study and in professional work, - has consciousness how important is knowledge about anatomical systems and about this how to responsible use acquire knowledge.

Prerequisites: Biochemistry

Course content: Lectures and classes concern to skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system, alimentary system, respiratory system, cardiovasculare system, urogenital system, sense organs, common integument. The programme of lectures and classes include select issue of animals anatomy and topography with element of microscopic anatomy and embryology. In classes will conduct theoretically and practically form of the anatomy study. Examine the anatomical models and animals preparation.

Assessment methods: Student is obligate to attend classes and lectures. Classes: passing based on the average mark of final test and oral answers (assessment of progress during classes). Exam: student who has completed the calsses can proceed to a final writte exam (50 open questions around the materials of calsses and lectures). Exam lasts 90 minutes. Basis of credit is to get 30 points (of 50). If the student does not pass the exam on the first date have the second written term.
