Learning outcomes: KNOWLEDGE: The students know the soil genesis, their properties and processes taking place under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors. Is able to determine the value in use of the soil and soil environment adjustment knows the rules, the students knows the methods and consequences of innovation, while plant protection treatments, knows about the fate of biologically active substances of pesticides in ecosystem and their impact on selected groups of organisms. The issues are discussed with the use of selected substances, as example of known rules for movement of xenobiotics in the environment. Exercises provide a more systematic review of the measures appending on the market, with an emphasis on substrates that stand out positively or negatively in terms of ecotoxycological aspects. A student acquires theoretical and practical news related to the influence of mineral fertilizers or natural organic fertilizer and the quality of environment. SKILLS: The student is able to determine the value in use of soils and develop issues, which is one of soil and water quality resulting from the use of fertilizers and plant protection products.

Competences: SOCIAL COMPETENCES: the students show understanding of phenomena occurring in soil and their effect environment. Evaluates and explains the impact of plant protection and fertilizers to the size and quality of the obtained yields of arable crops. Student observes the principles of hygiene and security use of fertilizers and plant protection products. Student has works in a team. Shows the responsibility entrusted to the equipment. He has works in the group.

Prerequisites: PREREQUSITES: basic of physics and chemistry, agricultural science, fundamentals in crop production.

Course content: LERNING CONTENT: The genesis of soils and their distribution in Poland, properties and processes talking place under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors. This item is also the binding of agricultural sciences environment. The methods are consequences of the ecological environment of the xenobiotics while plant protection treatment. The fate of the biological active substances of pesticides in ecosystem and their impact of selected group of organisms. A review of the measures coppering on the market with an emphasis on substances that stand out positively or negatively in terms of ecotoxycoloical. The impact of agricultural activates on environment, sources of nutrients and toxic elements in environment. Factors are determining their accessibility. Mineral fertilizers, natural or organic are benefits for the farmer, a threat to the environment. Ecological effects of fertilization, observation of social competence, the assessments of the effects of individual work and teamwork are discussion in the classroom.
