Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Students gain a detailed and practical knowledge about the structure of the production system and its environment, that is made up theoretically have knowledge of production processes and services, manufacturing systems design, capacity planning, design and organization of production flow forms. Skills: Students can design selected systems and services to the manufacturing process, organize and coordinate the work of the production process, monitor existing processes and production systems and supplies, to manage the quality and safety of production processes in the enterprise, to select a robotic automation systems and manufacturing processes

Competences: Social Competence: The student understands the importance of education and self-improvement in the design of production systems, is aware of the risks and able to assess the social impact of the activities in the design of production systems, act in an entrepreneurial way of planning work on the implementation of production systems.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of management and organization.

Course content: Systems of organization and production processes, methods and models of analysis of the structure of the production system, the principles of organization of production, production planning, methods of modification of the production, manufacturing enterprise functional model, the distribution process.

Assessment methods: Assessment of learning outcomes in terms of knowledge: written tests, two tests, completion exercises, written exam. Assessment of learning outcomes in terms of skills: assessment prepared project. Assessment of learning outcomes in terms of social competence: evaluation of individual and group discussion skills, reasons for its opinion and inference.
